DISCOVERY MILL WINS NATIONAL AWARD
We are very proud to announce that the Discovery Mill and the Heathrow Terminal 2 Retail Team have won an award for the best Innovative Energy Efficient Project in 2014 at the annual national Environmental and Energy Awards.
James is pictured with our client and the team celebrating at the awards evening. These awards recognise, reward and celebrate excellence and innovation in businesses and technology providers across the UK.
We were short-listed and interviewed by a judging panel for Discovery Mill’s ‘Energy management through people’ approach and all the great work the team collaboratively achieved with Heathrow’s retail business partners in reducing energy usage in T2 Retail.
Heathrow set a target of a 10% reduction, using T5 Retail as a baseline benchmark, which we have surpassed with an average of over 17% for each retail unit.
Terminal 2 opened for business on the 4th June.
