‘DID YOU KNOW’ ENERGY REVIEW
Our ‘Did you know’ Energy Review is the first topic for our new ‘Friends of the Discovery Mill’ group. It asks: Why do we need energy? Where are the highest consumers? What can you do to help reduce consumption?
We often use this as a simple starting point for organisations to help engage key people and staff, to understand consumption profiles and drivers, and to start to bring these people together to form an energy management steering team.

‘Friends of the Discovery Mill’ is a brand new initiative for 2013 for friends and colleagues to help themselves whilst supporting us promoting the wider industry benefits of energy management. You will be able to tap into our secrets, share insights and help spread the word through your own networks, friends and colleagues.
Putting people at the heart of energy and environmental management success is the secret no one tells you about.
The big idea is to use this group to promote and share the wider benefits of ‘Energy management through people’ with examples that cut costs, deliver better service, improve skills and performance, unite teams, increase staff morale, push boundaries, make it all happen, reduce environmental impact, deliver better buildings, lock-in changes long-term, improve reputation, deliver sustainability and demonstrate leadership.
